Pre-Season Woes (2013/14)

News that only 23 players have been registered for the coming seasion has sent a wave of discontent through Mirandela fans. After losing several key, but older, players at the end of the season fans had hoped for plenty of reinforcements. de la Vega has however only brought in four players, chosing to fill the rest of the gaps with youth players.

"It can't be helped. I'm as frustrated as the fans are but I can't force players to join." responsed de la Vega in a heated press conference. "We've been scoting extensively and putting offers in but we just don't have the money or appeal to be able to completely overhaul the squad. We do however have some promising local players that we are going to give a chance to."
