Despite joining the club with only 10 days of the transfer window left de la Vega has managed to bring in 6 players on short term loan.
"It is easy to rush in and sign or buy a player when the end of the window is approaching but we can't afford to do that. We're not in the best shape financially so we have to be careful - we can't afford to buy a bench warmer."
"These loans should do the job though. They're from bigger sides and many have a good record at levels above this. They're filling the gaps in the team sheet and they are not costing us a penny in wages. If they perform well then we can try and see if they can be persuaded to stay on. If they don't fit then we can say goodbye to them at the end of the 3 months."
