It Begins...

Shortly after gaining the appropriate coaching badges Mexican Rodrigo de la Vega was offered the manager position at Mirandela SC in the Portuguese Second Division.

Upon being confirmed de la Vega had this to say, "I'm really looking forward to challenges ahead. I know not many people expect us to do more than finish the season in a safe position but after speaking with the board we both agree that we want to do better than that for the fans. We're going to play an exiciting possession based game and will hopefully turn in performances the fans can be proud of."

"First thing on my agenda is getting the proper staff in place and then shaping the squad. I'm planning something a little different tactically. I like a 4312 formation. It might take some time for the players to get used to the system but once they do I'm confident we'll start getting points."

NOTE:

I'm going to be playing this FM13 as a journeyman career save. So hopefully will be skipping from club to club before settling down. I've started with the English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, Northen Irish and Welsh leagues. Should have a nice mix of potential career paths.

Have to say FM13 looks fantastic so far.
